WHY IT MATTERS

The looming challenges of climate change and plastic pollution cannot be ignored. With the majority of plastic stemming from non-renewable petrochemicals, their extraction and transformation only exacerbate the environmental crises we face. Afterglow has chosen a different solution for its packaging.

  • Does it protect again UVA and UVB?
    It does!
  • Is this ok for sensitive skin?
    As always do a patch test first but mineral sunscreens are the best option for sensitive skin!
  • Is it ok for acne prone skin?
    It sure is, we added in an ingredient called niacinamide that reduces oil and acne.
  • Can men use it to?
    They sure can! Although the product was designed with women in mind that doesn’t mean that men can’t use it too, because who doesn’t want protected and nourished skin?
  • Is it vegan?
    It sure is! And cruelty free.
  • Is it water resistant?
    Yes, for up to 80mins.
  • Is it reef friendly?
    It is; a mineral sunscreen, free from parabens and chemicals.
  • How long did it take you to create the Daily Face SPF? It’s so good!
    Thank you! It took two and a half years to perfect the formulation and undergo testing while simultaneously set up the business side with the likes of trademarks etc.
  • Where are your products made?
    Our Daily Face SPF is formulated, manufactured and filled in Australia!
  • Where do you ship to?
    We ship Australia wide!
  • How did you come up with the brand name?
    We wanted to create a sunscreen brand that gave you beautiful glowy skin after use. Hence “Afterglow”.
  • What’s most important to you when creating Afterglow?
    We wanted it to be more than a product. We want it to be a movement that changes the narrative of SPF by empowering radiant skin and a radiant planet, to ensure our brand offers unparalleled protection and indulgence to protect as many people as possible.
  • Is it available in store anywhere to try?
    Not yet but watch this space! Also if you live locally keep an eye out for us popping up around Sydney!

    Now that would be telling!
